Hey fellow Maniacs, just passing along something fun on this slow news morning. As you know, Mania was representing at the San Diego Comic Con this year, our crew meeting for a photo op on the left. I'll put it down below but if you clicked on the Mania Video of the Day today, you would have seen Mania's Rich Kuras talking to various fanboys. And when I say fanboys, I mean uber-fanboys who sometimes leave Rich at a loss for words.
What you will learn from this particular video is to never ask Jawas, Pirates, Vader, Wolverine, Obi-Wan, Death Note fans and various creatures about politics.
Mania will be posting some more of these fun tidbits over the next few days about various encounters with the many fans and personal surprises of SDCC.
Be sure to check out Rich's expression after meeting Super Mario and a certain Death Note surprise.
hell, I would have loved to meet you guys, I was also down there but finding anybody without a cellphone number is like finding a needle in a haystack. I didnt shoot any videos this year but took over 200 photos of the costumers and professionals.
also i'd like to add that it would be FAR FAR easier to connect if Mania had purchased a booth this year instead of just wandering around doing the convention thing... I know there were more than a few Maniacs there (myself and Bill the Pony among others) i forgot to call Bill on Saturday so that was one missed opportunity.
