What? No Gorjira? That has to be one of the best anti-nuclear films ever made. Why is it not on this list?

You should add Clockwork Orange to this list. And although they're considered Fantasy/Horror I think Night Watch and Day Watch should fall into the Sci Fi category.

I would recommend The Returner as well... Not artsy - but quite fun... my 2¢.

How does Battle Royale qualify as Science Fiction?!?  Seems more like a blend of action/thriller to me.

Suprised District 9 isn't on the list.

That timecrime movie seems interesting. Other then Metropolis, La Jeteee and Battle Royal, I never heard of any of these other films.
