Jppintar326, I have to second Hans Gruber in Die Hard!

In fact, actor Alan Rickman is another triple threat for a villain who got justice like William Atheron.

In Die Hard as Hans Gruber:

"I am an exceptional thief, Mrs. McClane. And since I'm moving up to kidnapping, you should be more polite."

In Robin Hood Prince Of Theives as The Sheriff:

" Cancel the kitchen scraps for lepers and orphans, no more merciful beheadings, and call off Christmas."

In Quigley Down Under as evil rancher Marston:

"Some men are born in the wrong century. I think I was born on the wrong continent. Oh, by the way, you're fired."

I was gonna say Agent Smith in the Matrix but they screwed up by making two more movies after it

Nice list.  Warden Norten would be my #1 pick though.  He took the easy way out.  I would have to add Fernand Mondega and Villefort from Count of Monte Cristo.  I love watching Edmond Dantes slowly and calculatingly destroy those characters' lives.  Although I don't think it's better than some of these, one of my other favorites is the operative at the end of Serenity.  He was such a smug bastard and Mal gets the best of him.  Booyah! Your pressure point attack don't work on me!

"You're the BEST around, No one's ever gonna keep you down"

Johnny , great choice for #1... but didn't he show remorse after?

I wonder why I still check this site sometimes.... no wonder Cinescape the mag folded.

"Don't you never say an unkind word about Cinescape!"

You guys hate Star Wars, I'm convinced.  I'm with jppintar326, how can you leave that one off the list?

Not that it should be on this list, but I remember seeing Hostel and the whole theater went crazy when that creepy english guy got offed in the bathroom.  I've never seen a re-action like that to a villain getting his, like I did with that movie.

IDK if i was happy to see Alonzo from Training Day die. Denzel made him so bad-ass, i was actually rooting for him!!   =T

ddaiz, I second your nomination for The Operative in Serenity.  There's just something particularly sweet about not killing a man.  Instead, you show him that everything he thought he was working for was all a lie.  He thought what he was doing was for a better world/worlds.

I'd also add Tim Roth's character from Rob Roy to the list.  I can't recall his name or much else from that movie.  The one image I do remember from it though was Tim Roth being cut in half by Liam Neeson...AWESOME!

Any movie where Jack Palance died. Nobody pulled off a death scene like Jack Palance and you were almost always happy to see him die. I loved how Kent Mansley is dealt with in Iron Giant or Biff Tannen from Back to The Future. And, Not that it ranks up there with these, but I loved the punch to the face of Bradley Coopers character in Wedding Crashers.
