Total Recall

Jiminy Christmas, how could Total Recall and Dark City be left off this list?  Total Recall is the greatest mindf*** of a film I've ever seen.  I'm glad others have already mentioned those oversights.

My submissions:

Fight Club

Mission: Impossible

The Usual Suspects

Don't Forget  PI.  Now that movie messes with your head.

Whats the name of the movie where they are trapped in a nuclear bunker,  and a virus is ravaging the earth,  like hiv.  And it finally gets into the bunker,  and they get infected,  but the virus has now mutated to a point where its not deadly.

Andromada strain or something?  That f'd me when I was a kid.

I do agree however that this list is all over the place.

The crying game anyone?

This list could be made up of just David Cronenberg, and David Lynch movies and be longer than it is right now. Lynch's movies especially are all mind F*#&'s. Why is Eraserhead not on this list, that movie is crazy.

Stormrider, I think you're referring to The Andromeda Strain. Not so much of a mindf**k, but never-the-less one of the best movies, and my favorite, ever made! I absolutely love this movie!

Now, I'm referring to the 1971 movie of The Andromeda Strain, not that horrible made-for-tv POS movie that came out recently.

I'm not really sure how The Matrix, Memento, or The Machinist are really "mindfucks."  The Machinist, you could probably make a case for, but it would be way down the list.  I'm not saying these are good films, but not "mindfucks."  Memento and The Machinist are quite good and The Matrix, well, that's the only one of the trilogy I can sit through but then I turn it off before Neo flies off (terrible ending).

Where's Blue Velvet and Videodrome?  Those are my number one and number two.  I have never seen a film that deserved to be called a "mindfuck" more than Videodrome.  That movie is awesomely f'd up.
