I'd see Mary Worth, not gonna lie.

Her meddling knows no bounds!

FerretJohn, I think that's the idea... Studios take an idea or a property, then "adapt it' to within an inch of its life, so that no one even recognizes it any more.

goldeneyez, thanks for the laugh! I completely forgot about Samberg doing Cathy on SNL. He was perfect!!

Also, Rheul & trollman, I agree that Hathaway is a cutie patootie.  Hey, whatever happened to that guy that used to be on here? Every time her name was mentioned, he went on a rant about how she used to live in his neighborhood and he would see her walking her dog, and how terrible she looked without makeup etc.  I always figured he had hit on her and gotten rebuffed, and that's why he always had a beef against her... I've seen spy photos and the like of her sans makeup and personally, I think she's still pretty hot.

You do realize that there already was a Blondie movie series way back when, right?  Look it up on IMDB.  Why I know that, I don't know.  :)

I remember watching the Blondie movies when I was a kid.  A modern version would be no worse than any of the other family movies that get cranked out on a regular basis.

I think Betty White and Tara should be in EVERY movie.

Not trying to split hairs here, BUT it was a television series on NBC in the 50's... and AGAIN, on CBS this time, in the 60's...  Might have been a couple of movies in there as well, but mostly tv shows...  About the same time as Dobie Gillis and Love that Bob...

 Pretty funny!

Agreed, Hagar could be epic. Im trying to think who could be cast in that role. Steve Buscemi as Lucky Eddy.

Love to see another animated Bloom county movie.

First off Bob Trate, you should have done your homework as Blondie had a few films back in the 40's and were pretty standard comedy fare back in its day.  Second, I object...Calvin and Hobbs SHOULD be a movie.  Besides, it will give our old Mania buddy Hobbs something to crow about.  In fact he should be crowing that he's now been made special today.
