We figured that it is only a matter of time before Hollywood searches the Comic Section in newspapers (if they still exist) for the next strip movie. Well, we jumped them and came up with our own Comic Strip Movies. We've taken care of writing treatments and casting the films... we've even gone ahead and printed up some posters too. Okay, the Family Circus one was genius.
Just out of curiosity, were you aware that there was a series of films based on Blondie and a radio program, and that both ran from the late '30's until 1950?
Actually, the backstory of Blondie sounds like a premise for a movie: for the first few years of the strip, Blondie was a single flapper girl. Then, in 1933, she married Dagwood, who came from a wealthy family that disinherited him for marrying Blondie. Comedy or dramatic gold there.
