I’ll wrap up my week long Star Wars coverage (see Star Tours and Blu-ray pieces here on Mania) with my “10 Must Own New Star Wars Figures”. Clearly there will never be an end to the Star Wars phenomenon or an end to Star Wars action figures. Taking into consideration Star Tours: The Last Tour to Endor, Star Wars Celebration 5 and the new wave of figures hitting the stores there are a lot to pick from. Get ready to do some surfing on the net because this is Mania’s 10 Must Own New Star Wars Figures.

10. Donald Duck as Shadow Trooper

Cool New Star Wars photos

Limited to 5000 pieces Donald as the Shadow Trooper was almost the hottest figure at Celebration 5 and The Last Tour to Endor. The figure itself is badass with its limited edition numbering and packaging.

9. Minnie Mouse Slave Leia – Star Tours Series 3

Cool New Star Wars photos

Though not a limited edition figure, Minnie Mouse as Slave Leia was the figure to have last weekend in Florida. Fan boys were tearing up the racks trying to find her. Many were passing over Shadow Trooper Donald for another look for Minnie.

8. Star Wars The Clone Wars Firefighter Droid

Cool New Star Wars photos

There hasn’t been a Battle Droid figure this cool since the preview STAP with Battle Droid figure back in 1999. It is just so ridiculously funny and cool all at the same time. Could a Trade Federation AAT Fire Truck far off?

7. Clone Flame Trooper

Cool New Star Wars photos

From the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Landing at Point Rain" comes the coolest Clone Trooper since Captain Rex. The colors and the awesome weapon just work in a way that one of these guys will not be enough. Currently, they are a little harder to find right now than your average Clone Trooper. .

6. Sergeant Bric

Cool New Star Wars photos

He is the latest Clone Wars mail away figure. Only 5 UPC codes and you’ll have this bizarre looking new character from season 3.

5. Zuckuss and 4-LOM – Celebration 5 Two Pack

Cool New Star Wars photos

The Celebration 5 exclusive is not so exclusive anymore as it is available on the Hasbro/ Star Wars site. Believe it or not it is also reasonably priced.

4. Han Solo - Echo Base Outfit (VC03)

Cool New Star Wars photos

The only unique figure to emerge from the Vintage (or black carded) line. An incredible likeness and worth adding to the giant Millennium Falcon you picked up.

3. Vintage Boba Fett (VC09)

Cool New Star Wars photos

It’s Boba on the black card! What more needs to be said?

2. Jodo Kast - Kmart Exclusive

Cool New Star Wars photos

This one took me by surprise. Kmart has an exclusive figure?! I’ll venture into one or two Kmarts to try and find one but if that fails they are already on Amazon.

1. Pre Vizsla

Cool New Star Wars photos

Easily the must have figure in this latest wave of Star Wars figures. Vizsla and his Death Watch have elevated the Mandalorians back to their rightful place in the Star Wars mythos. It is also pretty damn cool to have an action figure voiced by Jon Favreau.

I've been going a bit crazy buying my son the galactic heroes sets.  I love their cartoony style.  I can't wait to give him the ATAT that should be coming in the mail soon.

How do you think Boba feels about Jodo Kast being ahead of him?

I have nothing against the idea of store exclusives, but the store in question should always be one that everyone has access to.  All of the K-Marts in my area closed down years ago.  I remember back when they made the Tydirium Shuttle an FAO Schwartz exclusive, and I wanted to cut someone.  There's not one of those in my STATE!

The Kmart Jodo Kast was easy to find... as exclsuives go there were more of them than the regular figures! 8.99 is a bit much though...

The exclusives are what drove me out of Star Wars collecting for years. Now I pick some things up from time to time (actually a bit disappointed in the Cloud Car for example) but I no longer haunt toy isles needing to get every figure. And the FAO Schwartz (spits on the ground) shuttle was part of that. I was just exstatic when Target got the re-release a few years back.

Hate exclusives. And lol K-Mart. I found an exclusive 3 armor Ironman set there but I still don't like going into the store-which won't be a problem much loger as they sold the land to the Pack so they are likely out of there in short order.

Han in Hoth Gear (with Hood up)  or Han in Hoth Gear (with Hood Down) .

I'am getting tired of Star Wars.

I remember when Boba Fett was the coolest. Now they got all these other characters that share his armour and helmet and overall look. Bah, George milking the cow again.

Having 2 out of 10 (Han Solo and Boba Fett) are not bad.  Love the Donald Duck one.  Don't forget to send away for the Boba Fett with the firing missile.

Please stop encouraging them to make more.
