As overall cheesy and a TV film, I haveta go with Salem's Lot 1978. Most-Bad-Ass_VAMPIRE-of-all-time!!! Barlow! Plus the scratching at the window?

Terrified as a child for years....

The movie "Inside" started off well...but turned into total crap about halfway through.  I would never have it on this list.  Those cops and their completely unrealistic actions justs ruin it!  I'm sorry, but a cop busts someone, puts him in handcuffs...then decides to make him come with him to investigate something else instead of calling and waiting for backup?!?  And then proceeds to give the said criminal a gun!?!  Uh huh...quality story telling right there.

@ invisioner. Agreed!  Salem's Lot gave me nightmares as a kid and for the longest time I wouldn't look out my second story  window at night for fear of seeing something staring back at me.

Great list and a lot of movies to catch up on. One horror movie I loved though no one in social circle ever saw was Descent, a great combo of all female cast, fantastic setting (in a cave) and great baddies.

Prince of Darkness was a good movie and I always thought there would be a sequal because of the way it eneded.

The messages they were sending to themselves from the future to the past.
