Wyldstaar, does that mean you don't want Tobey Macguire as Jacen Solo? How about Bruce Campbell as the new Han Solo?

Hanso, you are wrong! George uses $100 dollar bills to wipe his tears!

cgi Yoda > puppet Yoda by a mile. It's just ridiculous to say otherwise

Wiseguy 10/31/2012 12:16:39 PM

Btw, shouldn't this thread be 10 Things Disney Needs To Do To  Save Star Wars. Because the one now seems to imply that just one of these 10 things is enough

Will Rick McCallum retire with George?

I still don't know who I want as director, but Spielberg isn't even close to making my list.  IMO stay the hell away from those who have ties to Lucas.  Maybe i'm just paranoid but I see Steven making secret phone calls to George.  Spielberg supporters keep in mind...he directed Crystal Skull...just sayin.

As for this list I agree with most of it.  I'd probably cut out the yoda (CGI was waaaay better.  Episode I still makes me nauseous) and the CW crew.  No offense to them I am just not sold on an animation team jumping on.  (doesn't mean they couldn't prove me wrong...cause I know i'll be in a seat in 2015 regardless)

I believe Spielberg has recently stated in an interview that he's done with action-type movies so for those of you who are pining for him to participate in any SW projects are out of luck!  It doesn't matter, there are many others who can do the job, it's just a matter of finding them at the right time.

Where did you see that?  Spielberg is working on Robocalypse after Lincoln.

Let's all remember that Joe Johnson, who made the bad ass Captain America, still wants to make the Boba Fett movie. A Boba Fett movie by Johnson under the guidance of Disney would KICK ASS. Period.

Hanso, I believe it was yahoo that brought it to my attention.  It was an interview he did with 60 minutes recently where he said, "In my life, the action doesn't hold any...it doesn't attract me anymore."  Feel free to interpret that in any way you like.

I read that too keithdaniel.

Spielberg said he is done with blockbusters/action and will stick to movies like Lincoln or War Horse. He's probably doing Robocalypse because it's a contract he signed prior to this statement.
