Shannon Elizabeth is addressing how the Ghost Viewer gimmick concocted by William Castle for the original 1960 13 GHOSTS will be altered for the coming remake from Dark Castle.
While talking to Chicago Sun-Times columnist, Cindy Pearlman, Elizabeth revealed, "We've kept the origin of the story. We have special glasses in the haunted house that allow you to see the ghosts. But the deal is the audience can see through these glasses when one of our characters picks them up. You see what happens while the characters don't know yet."
The actress adds, "It's almost too scary. I've been told that the filmmakers are trying to tone it down."
