This list is missing the the entrance of the T-Rex in Jurassic Park.

What's the diffence better an intro and entrance?  Aren't these pretty much the same thing?  I guess they could be different if you are specifically talking about after a character was introduced in a film and then later he enters a room, guns-a-blazing or something to that effect.

Good list, even if I'm nitpicking symantics Hanso.

Kahns entrance, in Star Trek II,  was pretty good as well.

OH, and how about the bad guy in the CELL. when she finally reaches his main throne chamber and he's got those giant purple cape things attached to his back, and he says "WHAT R U DOING HERE!!"

I have to agree with redhairs symantic nitpicking. I feel like most of these are more reveals than intros or enrtrances. Vader is an into and entrance, you know nothing about him and then BOOM there he is dominating your world. Anybody who's talked about long before they appear, like the Shark, Lecter, or Kong is just revealing what you've been investing in so far in the movie. What's the difference between finally seeing the giant ape that the movie is named after and being shown that Verbal Kint is Keyser Soze? It's hard for me to accept it as a "first impression" as noted in the intro when an impression has already been formed.

Just my two cents.

It's not a really a "genre" film, but everyone should check out Malcolm McDowell's entrance in the film "If..."  Not only is it his entrance in the film, it's also his first appearance "ON" film.  I tried to find it on Youtube, but to no avail.  Still, rent, buy, netflix If... if you've never seen it.
