funny that Sidekicks made this list. I actually like that movie. It was sorta like Chuck Norris enters a wanna be "Karate Kid" movie to help a kid who day dreams all of the time.

The Little Mermaid a guilty pleasure?  Since when?  It is one of the best Disney Animated films ever.  So it strays from the book?  So what?  Don't most Disney Animated films also do that.  I would agree with most of the list, except I would put Rocky III instead of Rocky IV.  By the way, some of us like The Fast and the Furious and hated Point Break.

Note:  Try watching Night at the Roxbury without doing the head bobbing.  I can't either.

Nailed it on the spot for me. I always end up watching Road House when they show it on Spike

WTF is this $H!T! This article sucks @$$! The author seemed to misunderstand what he was suppossed to write about! Guilty Pleasure Movies, doesn't refer to a guy, who has a high estrogen level and has to watch chic flix on the side and is embarrased about it!  Besides Dirty Dancing, NAT Roxberry, Pretty Woman aren't even genre films! And Commando isn't a guilty Pleasure, it is pure awesomeness! Any real man would know that! BTW, I hear Midol is good for PMS cramps! Thought you'd want to know!

Demolition Man is one of those films for me. Sly and Rodman...what do you mean that wasn't Rodman?

You forgot Twister.  Any movie with helen Hunt, Bill Paxton and flying cows has to be a guilty pleasure.  And any time Twister is on TV I have to watch it.  Not ON TV mind you.  I get my video tape of the film out and watch that so I don't get bothered by the cut scenes and commercial breaks.  And did I mention the flying cows?

Also, there is Chronicles Of Riddick.  It's a really bad film.  But I enjoy it anyway.  Talk about guilty pleasures.

I would also add Smokey and the Bandit.  I am still amazed that in the same summer of '77 when people were lining to see Star Wars that this very funny was also making money.  Yes, it has been diluted because Bert Reynolds essentially played the same character in not just the lame sequel but also in Cannonball Run, Cannonball Run II, and Stroker Ace.  Besides, it was said to be a guilty pleasure of Alfred Hitchcock's and who am I to argue with Hitch.

There should be a separate category just devoted to guilty pleasure sequels.  In addition to Rocky III and IV, I would also put down Jaws II (not as good as the first one but a lot better than 3-D and The Revenge) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III.  There are so many sequels to put down here I wouldn't have room.

Finally, if you were to look up guilty pleasure in the dictionary, it should say "see Weekend at Bernie's"

Just cause the Wayans made some sucky movies dont mean that they suck; they ARE supremely talentedl Don't believe me? Go and rent 'In Living Color' Seasons 1-5. Check out the nuances of the edgy comedy they put out. We all can't be Belushi, you know?
