Though if I can make a request when you do review the bluray, I would really like to know if he cleaned up the original trilogy sf/x. In the last DVD release of Empire, for example. When the tie fighters are flying around you can see the box around them totally taking me out of the movie. I would like to know if he cleaned those up. Still don't know how he released that last set without fixing it.
He's also fixed other things, like problem of Vader not shouting "No" when he throws the Emperor down the shaft, and the problem of Jabba's door being too small.
God I feel old as I remember all of these commercials. :(
Funny to hear those kids attempt British accents. There is a little Carrie Fisher in all of us. :)
I cried during the last commercial.........................................
My brother and I collected these when we were kids, 1st editions right after the first movie, we played with them until the arms fell off, some got lost in the backyard, some became chew toys for the dog, some were flushed down the toilet. Awhile ago I stopped by a collectibles shop and saw those same toys we we playing with and OH MY GAWD! MONEY!! If I had known then how much they'd be worth now... ehhh I'd have still played them into the ground, but I woulda bought a second set and kept them bagged, tagged, and ready for my retirement.
When I was in Kindergarten, around the time "Empire" first came out, I remember being in the yard of a kid in the neighborhood with that other kid, my cousin, and brother,-we had the snowspeeder, Tauntaun, and a bunch of figures- making up our own stories taking them out of the box (I had my Yoda guarding a bush in the yard where Vader set a trap), and all that. Great memories. I know you can't go back. I hope my nephew and nieces do have fun like this, too.
ugh..utube is blocked at work so I can't see them...I'll have to catch your bluray review when you write it. I like your DVD reviews because of the detail. Where everyone else will focus on the changes George has made again, noooooo, you'll tell us about the rest as well. I'm more curious about what's on the extra discs than I am about the movies.
