 Megatron's Fusion Cannon.

The Hanzo sword definitely.

The list should be expanded to maybe 20 or 25 or include real from fantasy.

Mini gun is real as are machetes. Wolverine's claws and lightsabers aren't.

Pee Wee Herman's... Bicycle!

Cool list. I would have left most of the guns and knives, though, as not being unique. Some additions:

Batman's utility belt and any Bat vehicle

Penguin's umbrellas & Catwoman's whip

Joker's acid-squirting flower & electrifying joy buzzer

Mr Freeze's gun & Poison Ivy's trance inducing powder

Venom's suit, Goblin Glider & Doc Ock's arms

Phantom Zone projector

lazer from the Pink Panther

Oddjob's hat

Scaramanga's gun

the nude bomb (anybody remember this one?)

the USS Enterprise!

OK, I'll stop now.

HAHA. Ok i was gonna try and list as many ridiculous crazy weapons as i could as i read thru the comments, but I believe that ship has sailed....

Okay, as far as the list goes, you have to remember the instrument has to almost outshine the wielder. Therefore, Michael Meyers was more significant than the knife, and it shouldn't be on the list (besides, he killed with more than that) The lightsaber was uber cool when it came out and made boy and girl alike wish they had one.

Bruce Lee is far more weapon than anything he could hold, so numbchucks don't count, and he beat Chuck, so, Chuck is negated.

The globes from Phantasm WERE the movie, as the Glaive from Krull, who even remembered Ken Marshall?

If anime was a consideration, then the Wave Motion Gun from Star Blazers, which, I guess comes second to the Death Star itself.

And I won't even go near Ron Jeremy's penis...Hanso. Good left field pitch though!

How about the Ark of the Covenant?

No Phantasm???

The Walther PPK was notoriously, inaccurate, unreliable and jammed a lot. The range of the weapon also left a lot to be desired - you had to practically be point blank range to hit anything. I prefer the Walther P99 which was used by Brosnan's Bond and all the way up to Casino Royal. Its much more reliable and accurate, has greater range than the PPK and the ammo, 9mm, is a lot cheaper than the .380 rounds used in the PPK. I have a P99 and love the hell out of it. Why the franchise went back to the PPK is beyond me. Nostalgia?
