THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Facebook page has posted two new images for The Hunger Games sequel. One of the images features Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence and Willow Shields.

The Plot: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE features Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright and Amanda Plummer.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE arrives November 22nd, 2013.

It's a shame Jennifer Lawrence is tainting her career with these movies.  The first book is fine, but the last two movies will be crap without major changes to the books.  Especially the third, which is a steaming pile of poop.

I will say the movie drastically improved on the first book so maybe there's hope for the sequels.  But it will be very hard to overcome the dumb that is books two and three (especially three).
