Revenge of the Sith's music, though not the best of the Star Wars films, certainly was incredible at setting the dark mood of the story. Empire's themes are just too good to be topped by ANY movies music, well, except Williams' own E.T. score. He has written some of the greatest and timeless music for film ever. Right up there with him, though, is the late Mr. Jerry Goldsmith(RIP). Both are amazing composers and have done some of the best movie music ever!

I really liked both the scores of Revenge of The Sith and The Goblet of Fire. The problem I had with both of those scores being nominated for Saturns is that they both contain a large amount of source material from earlier scores. Because of that, I have a hunch that Williams will win for War of the Worlds.

He absolutley deserves it. R.O.T.S. was one of his best in years. A teriffic score.

Jayce78, I agree it's one of his best too. I LOVE the "Heros" theme the most. And the "Enter General Grievous" theme was so appropriate and spot on with its almost mechanical sound! Brilliant. I listened to it again last night, and must say, I partially retract what I said above. It's close to as good as Empire and as good as Phantom.

Alaristhered, well, from that perspective, I think you may be right that Williams will win it for Worlds, though the movie wasn't NEAR as good as the music.
