How about The Last Guardian?  The followup to Shadow of the Colossus and Ico.  It's Japanese, but it'll actually be good, and will have a good story that doesn't involve androgynous guys with freudian swords.

How about Halo Reach?  It's Halo so it automatically trumps Phoenix Wright and half of the other games you have on the list.  Seriously, you put Epic Mickey on the list but left off Halo?

How about Dark Void?  It features vertical cover, jet packs and UFO highjacking and it was created by the same people who made Crimson Skies

How about Dead Space 2?  The sequel to a game that proved that EA is capable of publishing quality non sports games and is one of the best survival horror/sci fi games ever made.  It's Resident Evil meets Bioshock in space.

How about Red Dead Redemption? It's Grand Theft Auto in the old west.  Probably the first truly good western game ever made and well worth a mention.

How about Arkham Asylum 2?  A sequel to the best comic book game of all time.

How about Splinter Cell Conviction?  Fans have been waiting 5 years for that one.

How about Dante's Inferno?  It's God of War but based on the Divine Comedy.

Final Fantasy XIII is getting pretty lukewarm reviews so far so I'd pull that from the number one slot at the very least.

Bayonetta looks like Devil May Cry with a hot babe and a crazy ambience, but it is in no way shape or form more highly anticipated than any of the above titles I mentioned. You got God of War III, Bioshock 2, Dead Rising 2 and Mass Effect 2, but that's about it.

Some of the stuff you've got on here just aren't big enough franchises  to include on a list like this.

The new medal of honor looks sick too. Saw it on the video game awards. Waiting for BIoshock, Darksiders, and of course halo reach.

People consider Bioshock perfect?

Maybe you like the combat gameplay or the aesthetics.  However, the morality system is a textbook example of poor design, and its flaws have been discussed at game design conferences. The dark path was supposed to have compelling rewards, in order to encourage the player to go down that path.  However, because you have to allow the good players to reach the end and complete the game, the rewards were ultimately meaningless.  Both paths resulted in characters of equal power at multiple key points throughout the game.

Interesting....no mention of DC Universe Online. Not even in the comments section. Isn't this game due out sometime in 2010? And am I the only one looking forward to it??

I'm looking forward to DC Universe Online also

DC Universe Online is a bit of a mixed bag for me.  I love the comics, but don't care for MMOs, and playing as some made up hero isn't as cool as playing as Batman will be in Arkham 2.

Adidas your post is all over the place.  I'm not even sure what your point is.
