Would Prefer Gary Newmans - Down in the Park better. Great to see Anthrax and Maiden in the Charts. I was always hoping they would have thrown I am the Law in the Judge Dredd movie but they didnt, Drokk! Three Doors Down - Kryptonite is the best Superman Song. And Ya, Lion - Transformers Theme!!! Queen is definitely a Scifi Essential glad to see it at number one. Hey how about that Star Wars Disco? LOL.

The Saga begins is the second Star Wars song of Weird Al, the first song was Yoda. Star wars cantina was someone else.

"Unfortunately, there are a lot of song parodies floating around the Internet being attributed to Al which are in fact done by somebody else. "Star Wars Cantina," "Windows 95 Sucks," "Living La Vida Yoda," "Combo No. 5," "What If God Smoked Cannabis," "He Got The Wrong Foot Amputated" (the list goes on and on... some of the titles are unprintable in a family-friendly web site) - these songs are NOT by Al."

Front Line Assembly's "Mindphaser" should be tops on this list - hell, it has several choice samples from "Robocop 2" and the accompanying video rips most (if not all) of its visuals from the Japanese live action mech film "Gunhead".

Not only that, the song is among the greatest industrial anthems of all-time.  How can you beat that? ^_^

I wish you would have mentioned the original Misfits 1977 "TV Causality" for their plea "I wish they'd put Prince Namor on the tube" rather than a lame ass Misfits 2.0 look at my pop couture reference song. And there is that line in Guns N Roses' "Paradise City" about Captain America...

Jedi4shield: "Down in the Park" is an amazing song! Gary Newman rocks!

I meant Gary Numan.

The one I wanted on this list the most was Mission Earth by Edgar Winter, since it was a whole soundtrack designed around a ten volume science fiction novel series.
