Grats Breaking Bad & Anna Gunn!

Modern Family has become crap.  The jokes are old and overdone.  Once again, who decides who gets these awards?

 Breaking Bad LIKE A BOSS!

I gotta say I've seen a few episodes of Newsroom and from what I saw there is no way Jeff Daniels was doing better work than Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm.  Stii cant believe he won.

Where was the love for Justified? That show is freaking awesome!

Is there a reason why The Walking Dead wasn't nominated for anything? Am I missing something? Or is this the biggest omission ever?!?!

JonnyRotten 9/24/2013 6:38:09 AM

Yes good question why do they over look the Walking Dead ..... come on at least best makeup????

GenghisKong...I share your opinion of Justified...it's a great show, but I don't think we're supposed to bring up series like that on this website...only reviewer Rob Vaux is allowed to discuss stuff that doesn't fit into the comic book, horror, sci-fi, anime or fantasy genres.

The award that surprised me was Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series going to Netflix's House of Cards. Good for them.

I wasn't surprised that they ignored The Walking Dead.  Like HBO's True Blood, I think the series provides a lot of nonsensical fun and little else (the writing, acting and directing aren't particularly good). Can't imagine anyone taking it seriously (a virus that animates dead human bodies and turns them into carnivorous monsters... lol)...also the show makes me feel a little guilty for relishing in the weekly, over the top, gratuitous, graphic violence (even if the majority of the victims are slow, stupid, zombies).
