... So, following through that line of thinking, there's no good reason to fly with Space Adventures.  You can get the same benefit (and maybe more) by staying at home, traveling through space and time in the comfort of your armchair.  And it would save $20 million.

For here I am, floating in a tin can
Far about the world
Planet Earth is blue and there is nothing I can do

"Like the interwoven threads of an infinitely complex tapestry, every single human being on this planet has a purpose which none of us, from our limited perspective, can even begin to fathom."

"Therefore, surely we already have access to everything we need, hard-wired into the Consciousness, whatever that may be, of every sentient being on this planet?"

the only thing hard wired into humankind is the ability to screw things up trying to satisfy thier selfish desires.

"So, maybe it's time for us to kick off the training wheels and finally learn how to navigate this Mother under our own united free will?"

look at where free will has gotten us...

"For thousands of years we've shirked our responsibilities, blaming a conveniently demonized scapegoat or even the divine will of an erstwhile anthropomorphized deity, expecting to be bailed out at the last minute by some form of supreme being or suitably superior entity because we can't possibly be expected to cope within the limitations of our own fragile human comprehension."

talking about responsiblilities...

why not do something more worth while...

how about use that 20 mill to save the people who need help. feed the hungry. heal the sick.

20% of the worlds population live on 80% of the worlds resources. thats just wrong.

lets see your aliens come save us from that.
