A bit more is coming out now about what viewers can expect in the second season of 24, as well as the other genre shows on the schedule of the Fox Network next fall.
While showcasing their new shows to advertisers in New York City, Fox Entertainment President Gail Berman lauded 24, the real-time counter-terrorist thriller that ends its first season tonight, and positively gushed about season two.
"We sat down with the producers and they laid out an arc for next season that just blew us away," Berman said, confirming indications that the producers were actually going to change the format of the show until they pulled together a great (and still secret) idea for next year.
What else will viewers see next fall of Fox?
JOHN DOE, airing Fridays at 9 p.m. (X-FILES original spot) centers on a man who "knows everything" except his own identity.
FIREFLY, airing Fridays at 8 p.m., is Joss Whedon's much anticipated action drama based on a starship in the far future.
FASTLANE, airing Wednesday at 9 p.m., a kind of MIAMI VICE crossed with THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS cop action show.
