Marking its 25th Anniversary this year, the largest ever reunion of ROBOTECH’s industry talent will gather under one roof for a banquet celebration at the Van Nuys AirTel Plaza Hotel on September 18, 2010.

RT25 - The Celebration is a party to honor the numerous voice actors and production staff behind the making of America’s groundbreaking 80’s animated series, ROBOTECH. The celebration is being joined by many ROBOTECH fans who have kept their beloved series in their hearts for the past twenty five years.

The event will include over two dozen of the anime industry’s American talents, such as voice actors, directors, artists, writers, and producers. The list of special guests include long time industry professional, Tony Oliver (voice of Rick Hunter), famous “kid voice actor” Rebecca Forstadt (aka Reba West, voice of Lynn Minmei), mutli-talented voice actor and director, Richard Epcar (voice of Ben Dixon, Lunk, and Vince Grant), Yuri Lowenthal (voice of Marcus Rush), and even a live concert performance by singer/songwriter, Michael Bradley (singing voice of Yellow Dancer/Lancer).

The full complete (but still growing) list of the 27 Guests of Honor can be found at http://www.rt25celebration.com/guests.htm

It's too bad no one owns Robotech anymore... I missed out on the Protoculture Collection a while back because it was too blasted expensive... and now I'm kicking myself for it. So... could we possibly get some word on a possible re-issue or rescue from someone?

I wish I could go to this!

Celebrate 25 years of Robotech bastardization, misinformation, lies and  idiocy?

I also wish I could go, it's too bad everything is in a holding pattern for new projects.
