Great or Meh?

Sony Pictures has released three new international posters for Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man 2. In all honesty, these international posters look like the sort one would buy at a department store. Picture two is nothing more than a poor man’s homage to an Alex Ross picture of Spider-Man (at least his that included Gwen Stacy). Thankfully, the art of the poster isn’t dead and companies like Mondo keep it alive.

The Plot: In the 2014 sequel, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away – but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Sally Field and Chris Cooper.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 arrives May 2nd, 2014.

They all look too cartoonish but cool at the same time.

I likes. A poor man's Alex Ross is better than 90% of all artists out there when it comes to superheroes.

Mondo posters are over rated. Yeah some are great, some are lousy just like everyone else. They just realized that by printing limited numbers of everything and never letting supply beat demand creates unwarranted buzz and drives up prizes. Simple

Geez, photoshop much.  Could they not get Electro in a different pose?  These are not good.  And since when does Electro have flight?

Seriously disapointed in these... are they so out of ideas they're recycling old poster ideas from the previous spiderman movies?  I remember Doc Ock's reflection in spiderman's eye from 10 years ago.  Also feels like the same exact costume from the Sam Raimi movies as well
