Ghost House Productions and Fearnet have released a teaser trailer to their upcoming prequel web series, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: BLOOD TRAILS, for the horror and Steve Nile fans eagerly it. This 7 part special web series, centering on a man named George battling Vampires in New Orleans, leads up the October 19, 2007 theater release of the feature film, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, for Columbia Pictures. The first of web exclusive series airs on Fearnet beginning on September 13 leading up to the movie being released in theaters in October.
Plot Summary: Blood Trails is based on the New Orleans storyline from the original 30 Days of Night graphic novels and will bring horror fans even deeper into the terrifying vampire-infested world. It follows George, a young addict who makes a living seeking covert information for the weary but wise vampire hunter Judith. Ready for change, George plans to score one final job so he can leave town – but finds the road to salvation quickly crumbling when his contacts start turning up dead. Now George must dodge vampires while navigating the harsh underbelly of New Orleans to get his last payday and make it out alive.

This looks sweet. I hesitated watching the last movie they serialized "Devil's Trade" because I was like, "How good could it be?", and it turned out, pretty damn good. Looking forward to this. They ought to do this with more movies, screw a prequel if it doesn't call for one. And I'm talking on regular television or on HBO or whatnot. They already know what channel the movies are going to beforehand after DVDs, so put the prequel out on that channel. Might get them more subscribers in the long run.
