In connection with this upcoming highly anticipated, FEARnet is planning a new web series titled 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: BLOOD TRAILS beginning on September 13 and ending on October 19 in connection with the film's release.

Here's the details:

Following on the heels of their highly-buzzed about short form mini-series “Devil’s Trade,” FEARnet, the world’s premiere horror and thriller website and on-demand service, and Ghost House Pictures, the joint-venture between Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Mandate Pictures, will once again unleash terror on horror fans with 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails. This chilling gore fest about blood-thirsty vampires is inspired by Steve Niles’ ground-breaking graphic novel and Sony’s upcoming feature film, the Ghost House produced 30 Days of Night which tells the story of vampires who terrorize the town of Barrow , Alaska . The mini-series premieres on FEARnet.com and FEARnet’s VOD channel on September 13th.

Blood Trails is based on the New Orleans storyline from the original 30 Days of Night graphic novels and will bring horror fans even deeper into the terrifying vampire-infested world. It follows George, a young addict who makes a living seeking covert information for the weary but wise vampire hunter Judith. Ready for change, George plans to score one final job so he can leave town – but finds the road to salvation quickly crumbling when his contacts start turning up dead. Now George must dodge vampires while navigating the harsh underbelly of New Orleans to get his last payday and make it out alive.

The spine-tingling action will unfold over seven, 3-5 minute mini-sodes on a weekly basis. The project is directed by rising horror star Victor Garcia (“Return To House On Haunted Hill”) from a script by “Devil’s Trade” writer Ben Ketai with Steve Niles serving as a creative consultant.

“In our commitment to creating the premiere horror and thriller destination, we are reaching out to the creative community and providing a platform for the short-form thrillers that lurk in the minds of entertainment’s most creative people,” said Diane Robina, President of FEARnet. “To have the Ghost House team and Sony on board for our second series is absolutely wonderful…both for us and for horror lovers everywhere.”

Ghost House partner Rob Tapert added, "We’ve seen the digital space grow exponentially in the last few years and FEARnet presents us with another great opportunity to expand our goal in providing original content to the horror community. 30 Days of Night is a huge theatrical release for us and a graphic novel series that has a tremendous fan base. To be able to provide these core fans and horror lovers alike with a chance to get even deeper into this Vampire world through the Blood Trails mini-series is truly exciting for us.”
