Now that Stephen Sommers ('Van Helsing') has been confirmed to be the director of behind the new live-action 'G.I. Joe' film, the next question is, who will write the movie.IESB, who reported the Sommers scoop ahead of everyone else is now reporting that the director has summoned screenwriter Stuart Beattie to the table. According to IESB, Paramount has already hired the writer.
