Connors still has in his posession the fragment of the symbyont. I could see him using it's regenerant properties combined with reptlile dna.

But I'm leaning more toward the Vulture as the villain. It would be interesting to see what they do with the flying harness.

How about we take a page out of the current Spidey book and have Mysterio be one of the bad guys and reveal that Norman/Green Goblin is still alive and that he was the one that put ton the show to make it appear that he was dead like he did for Harry in the book. The we can have Spidey's best villain back in the swing. Yeah I know no one wants that, just me

Well my picks have always been Kraven and the Lizard. There's a great story there waiting to be written

Ditto hanso's comment but it's still a nice topic to go over again and again and again and again............

I think we had a similaiar discussion a few weeks back about Who the next villians should be And I still think that Kraven and the Lizard would be the Ideal villians and it plays to a third trilogy was well. The "Kraven's Last Hunt" story line is "Amazing" excuse the pun, and would make for a great story line. However I must admit I would love to see Bruce Campbell as Mysterio. however, here is another angel for that he could play the Chamelon who is Kraven's brother in the comics and which would explain as to why he's been in all three movies.  That being said Gerald Butler is an excellent idea as Kraven, I love it. I also think that story line will help distance the series from the last campy musical Spider-man, and bring a nice dark edginess to it. This will help give a different feel to the next set of films.  I know what everyone is going to say not everything has to be dark and edgy and your right it doesn't but it plays well and after the last movie it follows a great continuing story line as peter continues this path of pain and then comes out in the end in a sense redeemed. I mean lets face facts Peter Parker has always had the hard end of the stick , and it is rarely ever that what makes his character great  he always bounces back and charges into the fire. Because with great power comes great responsiblity. lol just had to throw that in.

That is a nice plot you have going on. Not only does it delve back into the old school canon but it sounds a hell of a lot better than a lot of what i have read ( as proposals). Nicely done.

Wow guys,

Cut Chad a break....jeeze!

Fun article and SM-4 is on the horizon, so he's just getting the conversation started again. I really wanna see the lizard in this one.

What about the obvious choice of villian?  Carnage? pick up where 3 left off... OR what about throwing Kingpin in there?  He could create and or hire the Rhino. That would be cool too... the Rhino was always one of my favs...

Scorpion would be cool. But instead of Bruce Willis I was thinking along the lines of Jason Statham instead...much younger and just as badass.  Plus he needs to stop doing B movie characters and do something more high profile.

I would like to see Black Cat in the mix also.  I think she would be a fun foil to Spidey's good intentions.  A cat burgular who Spidey is in awe about and wants to make her go straight and stop being a criminal.  But she can't help it cuz he just loves the thrill of stealing.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this..but in the Ultimate Spider-Man universe..Bruce Campbell actually played Mysterio.  Well,  not the real thing, but in that comic series they made a Spider-man movie in the comic.  Mysterio was the on screen villian and Bruce played him.  The entire issue featured several cameos from other actors from the original film

what hanso said!

The problem with the Black Cat, is Cat woman. If you like spiderman because of the movies, you might not see her as a long going character, but a batman rip off. Otherwise, I love her! And a role for Megan Fox!

Me? I would love to see Dr. Morbius, played by Benicio del Toro!
