I remember that I saw enemy mine in the theater when I was fairly young and was deeply moved by it. I have it on VHS (yes VHS) but barely watched it because it always broke my heart. Just like The Princess Bride, it was ahead of its time...

I've seen all these except night of the creeps, in fact I've never heard of it. I liked them all.

Good list, I'm a fan of all these films with the exception of "Runaway" witch I never got around to seeing, but will now make an effort to seek it out.

Are you kidding me, Time Bandits and Enemy Mine are not almost great Sci-Fi movies, they are great Sci-Fi movies...

Time Bandits and Lifeforce aren't "almost great". They ARE great. But Runaway really, really sucks. Saw it again recently. Bad.

Can't really say I recall seeing any of these movies, unless I did and just don't recall them by name. But thanks for pointing these out. As much as I like sci-fi blockbusters, I do get a kick out of movies that most would ever dare admit to watching. Sometimes for a laugh, sometimes cause I actually enjoy the movie. Can anyone tell me where can I find these movies? Is it as simple as your local Blockbuster? Netflix?
