Interesting list.  Would not have even thought to make something liek this and probably wouldn't have thought of some of these but they are good.

Finally, someone is acknowledging the awesomeness that is Dwight Frye.

I agree with AgentCoop (lol) that Dwight Frye is to not just to  one character but to all henchman what Bela Lugosi is to Dracula: the benchmark by which all else must be judged. His Renfield is simply the best henchman ever, if just for that amazing laugh alone. Sorry to the Waits fans; he's very good but Dwight's the man.

And why would playing naughty librarian with the Baroness be a bad thing?!?

The cannonosity (is that a word?) of the comics, novels and such varies.  The biggest factor tends to be when the expanded universe stories were written.  The ones that were done before the prequels have been stomped on pretty heavily.  I'm not sure of the full extent since I stopped reading them years ago.  At the time I quit, Lucasbooks was releasing at least one novel per month (most of which were pure crap).

Come on people, the worst and most despicable henchman in the known universe is Dwight Schrute. He's more than willing and eager to break balls and come down on his fellow employees and when given a chance he has shown his ability to betray his boss in order to empower himself

Mini Me, Harley Quinn, hell even the two guys that were sidekicks to Warren on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But...Grover Dill? not anyone I would even remotely think of when it comes to henchmen.

Dwight Schrute FTW

Wait... where's Karl from Die Hard??? He was a great henchman.

There's not a single henchman from Bond movies. You should make a list of just those. My vote goes for Dario: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2VQGLaAXj0

Salemwitch, NONE of the Geek Triad (as I call them) from Buffy were henchmen...I see them as equal partners in an enterprise to take on the Slayer...sure, Warren was the only "evil" one, but considering that Andrew was the only one who lived (and he even killed Jonathon in cold blood), if any of them was going to be the "leader"...well, history is written by the winners.  By the by, I still LOVE the season 4 episode where Jonathon cast the spell to be the world's bestest, most famous, most awesome guy ever...lol.
