Gyrich belongs to Fox and the X-men franchise. In fact, he's in X-men 1 and poorly used. No surprise from Singer.

 Clay Quartermain.  Loved that character.  He was killed off, but so were Dum Dum and the rest.  I'm sure they were all resurrected at some point.  But, really, a SHIELD TV show without Fury?  Come on.  So, it is just agents...no one with any powers.  Kind of Buffy meets Mission Impossible?  

 I'm sure other agents and Maria, Fury, Black Widow and Hawkeye and who knows who else will cameo or at least have their names thrown out there.

I completely enjoy the endless possibilities that this show can make happen.  My expectations are set firmly sky high.  Give me the Marvel U in as much entirety as possible given the limitations of licensing and budget constraints.

I am with EIBaz13, why create new characters when the list of characters you could use is almost endless? I am sure this show will be good, but I must admit seeing this makes it actually loose a little steam to me.

Yep these are all generic characters so far.  Not a good first sign.  So far just a money grab series.  They might as well do a tv movie out of it since it will be likely cancelled fast.
