I remember watching WildCATS and Mortal Kombat.  I tried watching them again today and my god  -_-  they weren't great before, but now they're just... yeah...

I use to watch MK after the American Street Fighter cartoon, where Guile was in charge of this elite group of "Street Fighters," with Blanka, Chun-Li, ocassionally Ryu and Ken would show up, and Cammy I think.  Yeah, I agree with you, why did cartoon animators have to change the story?  Especially with the cartoons based on fighting games, the plots weren't even that complicated back then!

I used to love the Rambo cartoon as a kid.

What about the Highlander cartoon with Quinton McCleod? If I remember correctly, I think it had Ramirez in it too. How that was possible I don't know.

There's also the crapfest that was James Bond, Jr.  It managed to take all the womanizing, exotic locations, and weapons and water them down to cotton candy.  Of course they used lasers instead of real guns, and there weren't any double entendres or sexual references of any kind.

Hey Monkeyfoot, I remember all too well the Conan t.v. series. Man, it was junk. And like you said - it was like a live action kiddie-toon. I think the budget was something like $2,000 per episode... Well, it looked like it was anyway. The only redeeming quality was that they casted a leading cast who had muscles and looked bad-ass. But the bad guys? Scrawny dude wearing helmets, cod peices and capes. Cheap!

Oh wait, instead of looking like a cartoon in live action it was on the same level as those live action saturday morning shows from the 70's like H.R. Puffnstuff and Sigmund and the Seamonsters!

Lame, so very very lame,  the worst of the worst.  I am so glad they have stuff like Wolverine VS the Hulk now.

I'll prb get ripped for this but I remember enjoying the Robo toon cause Robo actually had some action movement to him where as the movies I always felt he was too stiff and too vulnerable........................ ok let me have it

I completely missed the Conan series.  This is the first time I've heard of it.

Hmmm. I'm not sure. I have a pretty terrible list.

That Mr. T cartoon was absolutely horrible. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mister_T_%28TV_series%29

Then there's the SCTV and SNL character Ed Grimley, which got a cartoon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Grimley#The_Completely_Mental_Misadventures_of_Ed_Grimley

What about the Hulk Hogan cartoon? Does wrasslin' not count as adult entertainment? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulk_Hogan%27s_Rock_%27n%27_Wrestling  I get that he was adored by kids, as well, but I adored RoboCop, sooo....

There was a Starship Troopers animated series but I thought it was really good.
