THEY LIVE truly is a cult classic. With great lines like:

"Brother, life's a bitch... and she's back in heat" &

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

Guys..... I think you missed one.

Jesse Ventura

Predator

Hello????  I ain't got time to bleed!

stupidmania 8/24/2009 4:09:24 AM

WWE does not own the trademark of  "the Rock" Dwayne does. hes stated that in interviews.

What about Tyler Mane? wasn't he a wrestler?...and 12 Rounds was far from a good movie, but it was a lot better than it should have been.

mosgza 8/24/2009 4:42:57 AM

Jesse Ventura indeed!  He was in Running Man, as well - how do you miss that guy and playfully put Hogan in there twice?!

Oh, and Triple H in Blade III should get honorable mention for "nice try".

I'd hold off on Cena for now.  I'd say his "acting" is actually better than his wrestling.  His problem is that both of his terrible movies are WWE productions so he has been forced into a main role when he should probably start off in small ones.  Same for Austin.  I could easily see "Stone Cold" in a supporting role like Ventura was in Predator back in the day.

Yeah, you really can't put Stone Cold in at the number 5 spot of wrestlers that made it and John Cena in the 1 spot of wrestlers who didn`t. Stone Cold. Cena has been in 2 WWE produced movies and actually 12 Rounds was alot better than I thought it would be. I like Cena and he has charisma but nowhere near the charisma of the People's Champ, which I think is what the WWE was hoping for. The Rock is actually a good actor. I agree that Cena should have been put in smaller supporting roles before having him lead 2 movies.Cena is no Rocky Johnson.  Stone Cold was in the The Longest Yard before he did the Condemned. And now he is in another major film in The Expendables.

Oh and Goldberg should also get favorable mention for being in Universal Soldier 2.

This list deserves to be ridden along Jabroni drive and checked in to the Smackdown Hotel!  The Rock should be the number 1 guy on this list, that guy truly made it in the movies.

John Cena sucks but 12 Rounds wasn't that bad, definitely a step up from The Marine, that one was truly terrible.

The Great Khali should be on this list as well for sucking.   He was in Longest Yard and Get Smart.

One movie that had a lot of wrestlers that I didn't see mentioned was the new  Longest Yard.  Had Stone Cold, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, and a couple of others.  I actually thought the wrestlers were good in it too.

it's funny you say that Ponyboy because Dwayne Johnson is NO Rocky Johnson either, he was never called Rocky Johnson.   He was Rocky Maivia, Rocky after his father ROCKY Johnson, and Peter MAIVIA, his grandfather.  Stone Cold should be at #5 on the didn't make it list and Cena should be 5 on the made it list.   And The Rock is owned by Dwayne Johnson.  Love the writers on this site, how they jump to conclusions based on conjecture without using the internet (which houses just about any little schegma of information.   This site has REALLY gone to the DOGS.

I think Cena is headed in the right direction. The Marine was like throwback to the 80's style of action and 12 Rounds was pretty decent.

The Marine by the way made 22mil b.o. and 26mil dvd sales so I think a few more people than Cena's mom bought tickets or the dvd

12 Rounds didn't do as well 17b.o. and about 7 dvd. But I think Cena has potential personally. I'm not a wrestling fan so don't really care, most of these guys can't really act
