I actually enjoy Roddy Piper movies for some reason.  The Marine was ok. I can't stand John Cena but Robert Patrick was pretty entertaining in it.

See No Evil wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I was actually surprised the WWE went for and R rated film.

Wasn't Stone Colds big acting break on Nash Bridges?

As far as Kevin Nash goes all I can say is

"Yeah, massage your c*** for money"

Andre the Giant not as recognized as the others??  That's crazy!!  By the short term memory 10 year olds maybe, but not anyone over that.  He has his own A&E Biography special!  Andre definitely made a better mark in Wrestling then John Cena ever will.  He'll have a much more memorable film performance in Princess Bride then Cena ever will too...heck, it'll be a more memorable one then any of the other's except maybe Piper's.

Not only Tor Johnson, but also George "The Animal" Steele's performance of him in Ed Wood should've been honorable mentions in both lists.

Okay, I saw Suburban Command in the theater on my 13th birthday. I was the target audience and I thought it was great. Nearly 18 years later, it's still amusing.

Thunder in Paradise also featured Brutus the Barber Beefcake. How on earth do you leave that show out?!

The Condemned rocked.

Both The Marine and 12 Rounds were fairly decent for what they were - much better than most other WWE produced movies.

Dwayne Johnson is the only one to go from wrestling superstar to full time box office gold with what should be a very long, successful acting career (though Race to Witch Mountain didn't come close to comparing to the 2 original flicks in the 70's).

I realize this list is based on opinion, but Andre the Giant at #1? Come on!

Andre was great, but I think that Hulk Hogan is the MOST recognizeable wrestler turned "actor" in the entire world regardless of how much of an ass he has proved himself to be in the last few years.

This list is kind of crap. Andre really was most sucessful in princess bride thats it, The rock should be # 1. He had the most sucess. How can you give Austin numeber five for making it, and Cena # 1 for failing. They both had 2 movies and they both made dick. By the way you forgot to put Kink Kong bundy, Jessie "the body" Ventura, The Big Show, Diamond Dallas Page and Triple H on the list, they all were in movies and some succeded nad some just sucked.

forgetting quite a few: first of all   GOLDBERG (looney tunes back in action, universal solder 2...)

mick foley (anamorph)

big show (the waterboy)

undertaker (suburban commander, poltergeist)

randy savage (spiderman)

the great kali...(longest yard)

edge(highlander 4)

and many more...

he marine was a commando remake and pretty good by the way

charisma doesn't need to be good in acting just to capture the screen!

If Triple H could act better - he would be the perfect Thor

I agree with a large part of this list but I am sad that one of my favorite old school wrestlers didn't even bear mention.  I am referring to George "The Animal" Steele.  This guy was one of my favorite wrestlers back in the day and became a working actor in small (albeit limited) character roles.  He is still working though which is more that I can say for most of the others on this list.  Acording to IMDB...

Boston Girls (2009) (post-production) .... Harold
South of Heaven (2008) .... The Man
Florida City (2003) .... Tortuga Jack
... aka Small Town Conspiracy (USA: new title)
Blowfish (1997) .... Henry
Used Cars (1997) .... Sgt. George Steele
Ed Wood (1994) .... Tor Johnson

Met him once and I was thrilled!
