Come on NotAFan, it's not possible to have an X comic book without Wolverine in it...why would they have an X movie without him?  In fact, in the same year, they should have an X Men movie, a New Avengers movies, a Wolverine movie, another Wolverine movie, and a Spider-man movie, ALL with Wolverine in them!  Power Pack movie?...WITH Wolverine!

Wolverine has always been one of the most interesting and complex characters (if not THE most) in the X-Men universe. I just can't blame them for centering a good part of the movies around his character. That being said...now that they've given us 3 X-movies and 1 origin movie pivoted around Wolverine, I think now they should focus on some of the other characters and their back-stories. I like the New Mutants idea with the younger generation being led by the older generation. And who wouldn't like to see X-Force?

By the way, I actually liked the Wolverine movie. Lots of action and great FX, such as young Cyclops accidentally cutting a school in half. And bring on more of Gambit!! And of the three X-movies, I thought the second one was by far the best. But hey, that's just me...

I'd love all the ones mentioned with Excalibur being the least. But the one that you should've mentioned is EXILES. Imagine a group of mostly mutants jumping from universe to universe, trying to correct one thing or other gone wrong. Plus you get to mix and match all the Marvel characters in said universe, change their gender, personality, circumstances, it would be totally cool

javaone, I agree that Wolverine always WAS one of the most (if not THE most) interesting X Character out there, but I must stipulate that this is no longer the case...I would honestly have to say that the most interesting character in the X Universe (IMO) these days is Layla Miller.  She knows stuff!

I was in love with Firestar as a kid.  Is that so wrong?

Get rid of Fox and let Marvel/Disney do The New Mutants, X-Force, and Excalibur.  Those are the only ones I am really intrested in seeing escept for maybe X-Men:First Class and the next Wolverine even though I was disapointed by the first one.  A Deadpool movie could be good as long as the don't kill the character again.

Almostunbiased- Firestar is still hot. Look at her, that girl is healthy!

1st off X-Men 1 and 2 are the Best, but the action is kind of stiff in the 1st one. X3 Sucked, the best part of it Was The Casting of Beast(cast by Vaughn not Ratner.).

Gauley....You need to check out the D.C. of Dare Devil its a far better film, you should beable to find it in the 10$ bin in Wallmart.

As for wolverine...Im a huge fan(I have every issue of his series miniseries) so I can consider my self an Expert..maybe....any way I dont no what you were all expecting....but I thought the movie was ok, for what it was....Now dont get me wrong it has more problems with it that I care to list rite now(like the timeline issues.)...But this is movie wolverine NOT comic wolverine. Jackman is a good wolverine, not a great one.  To me wolverine has the potential to be a Franchise like Bond so all of you count your lucky stars that we have the Roger Moore Wolverine and not the Lazanby Wolverine. I look forward to seeing the next incarnation, though it would be nice if Marvel/Disney baught the rites back, I'm sure the'll get Dare Devil back at least.

I also Agree That An EXiles Movie would kick ass...Blink is one of my favorite charicters in the Marvel U.

I would love to see and x-men movie with a better villian, yes mags was good but what about sinister, apocolyps (we could get archangle too maybe), get a villain other than magneto or humans (unless they are releasing those big-azz mutant hunting robots Wolverine loves to take heads off of), there are a crap load of x-villians who would be awesome. how about making a "Top 5 Lead Villians for the next X-movie" list. while we are at it, what about a "Top 5 Lead Villains for the Avengers movie" list too. Bad guys make the movie, get a good villian and you have a great flick. The guy from the original Crow movie made watching Eddie Murphy's "Metro" possible to sit thru since he was the villian. Magneto is good, but he's been done. Bring out some big guns and let the FX do the rest. Mutant vs. Mutant (other than Magneto)
