INCREDIBLE HULK Tearing Up Manhattan

By: Jarrod Sarafin, News Editor
Date: Monday, July 23, 2007
Source: Comingsoon

Actually, he's not going to be tearing it up. Bruce Banner's alter ego will most like be saving it from Abomination in next year's THE INCREDIBLE HULK. Comingsoon is reporting that the production company has leased office space for their staff from June 23 until October 5. This points to a very long shoot in NYC going by those dates.

Of course their new plotline says it all...

Plot Summary: The story finds Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. But the warmongers who dream of abusing his powers won't leave him alone, nor will his need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler).

Upon returning to civilization, our brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by The Abomination (Tim Roth)--a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression whose powers match The Hulk's own. A fight of comic-book proportions ensues as Banner must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction.

INCREDIBLE HULK hits theaters everywhere on June 13, 2008.

One week before DARK KNIGHT? I'm sure that will change. Until then though...That's the release date.

Glad to see somebody else here who thinks the first one sucked, soulstealer82. I'm trying to wrap my mind around how any comic book fan could appreciate that cinematic abortion that Ang Lee delivered a few years ago. I genuinely can't see a movie starring Edward Norton and Tim Roth sucking, but I'm also going to keep my expectations low...and dear GOD...PLEASE...no f***ing Hulk POODLES!!!

TKay, i dont get what you mean by your statement "Glad to see somebody else here who thinks the first one sucked" ......... EVERYONE thinks that movie sucked, i would be surprised to find someone that actually liked the HULK film.

but all in all they seem to be uping the ante this time around, so here hoping for good things.

Manhattan? Tear up Manhattan? Yeah, right................more like Toronto ,Canada.

maverickrenegade, believe it or not, I have seen way too many people here who not only liked, but loved the first Hulk movie.

And Glenderry, of course it'll likely be Toronto or some other place that doesn't cost as much to film. Hell, Peter Jackson had King Kong climbing the Empire State Building in New Zealand, and I still totally bought it.

IF HULK TAKE MANHATTAN, WHERE BE SPIDERMAN?
MANHATTAN NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR BOTH!
SPIDERMAN ON VACATION?

People who think the first Hulk "sucked" clearly don't see enough movies. Hulk was mediocre at best, but sucked it did NOT. Batman and Robin sucked. Twister sucked. Catwoman and Ocean's Twelve sucked. Hulk was a masterpiece compared to those crap-fests.

narpin, while I appreciate what you're saying, of course the first "Hulk" movie will LOOK good when compared to crap like that. However, that doesn't change the fact that it was bad enough that MANY people agree that it DID in fact SUCK. And if you have any question of weather or not I've seen enough movies...did "Hulk" suck as bad as "Yor the Hunter From the Future"? or "Sword of the Valient"?...no, but it was still REALLY bad.

"i would be surprised to find someone that actually liked the HULK film."

I liked it.

Get over it.

I really didn't like the first Hulk film. I'm hoping we see some major changes in his presentation. Also, it would be nice to actually get a film that lets him talk instead of just grunting and growling. I hope the computer tech. has improved so he doesn't look like a cartoon.
