I'm tired of the series and will probably wait to see this one on HBO.

My question is why is this series still going? The 3rd was it, I have no desire to see the 4th, because I am afraid it will kill the series.

It's a fun popcorn horror franchise,I'm in

Shouldn't the series be trying to do something new by now? I mean, they're four films in and I have no dellusions that this film will not end the exact same way, in a shitty cop-out "twist".

As for this "fun popcorn" movie stuff... Alright, I can see that. I won't be a dick about that. Except, if any one has seen saws 1-3, why waste the money on saw 4? Just pull out your saw dvds this halloween and watch them for free. It'll be the exact same experience. Don't give this franchise any more money. I beg you!

Because idiots will keep going to see these shite movies, so as long as they make money, they will make more movies. Why anyone would like this crap is beyond me, must be because of low I.Q., that's right, I said it! So as it stands, I will probably see it 3-4 times...

got a solution, if you don't like saw than don't go see it or waste your time talking about it. Some people like to go see horror movies on the big screen around halloween time, no matter how old things have gotten. I will waste my $8 and go see saw, it has become a halloween tradition for me.

I don't consider talking about movies a waste of my time. Even if I don't like the film, I enjoy talking with others about its merrits (or lack thereof). Why do people have to tell us nay-sayers not to post our opinions of films on forums? The point of a forum is to spark discussion, after all. Just because some one dislikes the subject at hand doesn't mean they should leave their opinions to themselves.

And gollum, I'm not ragging on those of you who make a tradition out of it. Please don't think I'm trying to be a dick, because I'm honestly not trying to be. I just figure that, if all of the films end the same, and really don't try to bring something new to the table, why not just make a tradition out of watching the first one? Say what you will about Halloween 3 (it was crap), but at least it tried to switch things up before the idea of Michale Myers got stale. And hey, if anything, it seemed to make people appreciate the "Myers Goes A-Killin" schtick.

I'm just saying, isn't it about time that the Saw team tries to mix things up? Maybe I'm just expecting too much.

Well, seeing as the first three were crap...
