Nobody really cares about Prometheus that much do they? Movie sucked hard. It's just a weekend movie see and forget type.

Here is a fun bit of news. Apparently there is an Easter Egg on the Prometheus Blu-ray/ DVD (out 10-9-12) that links Ridley Scott’s film with Bladerunner. Yes, you read that right. Scott has linked the Prometheus Universe to his other sci-fi classic Bladerunner. It turns out that Peter Weyland (played by Guy Pearce) had a very eccentric mentor named Eldon Tyrell (played by Joe Turkel). Check out the screen capture below.

Thanks to darksoulja19 for the submission.

Dazzler, I care about Prometheus. I thought it rocked big time! Don't lump everyone into your opinion, ok? If you didn't like it, so be it, but there are a lot of us who like REAL Sci-Fi, not Michael Bay's interpretation of it!
Sorry Dazzler...you're in the minority with this one. The movie had it's flaws, but it was still amazing.
I don't think it sucked, but it also didn't do that much for me. People making really dumb decisions that were totally out of character. You have xenobiologists that were freaking out about messing with dead aliens because of not knowing what killed them, then 15 minutes later their trying to make penis shaped alien their bestest friend in the world.
Ditto. Great movie, not sure why they didn't just run to the side when being run down by the giant ship, but other than that, I didn't find the flaws most did. Combining the four franchises (and yes, include the Predators. Jettison the AvP movies, but Predators was awesome), and you have a really outstanding crossover universe. Might even inspire some thinking and a franchise with staying power, unlike that other crossover *cough* Avengers.
Gah! Stop lumping Predators in with Aliens. Worse thing in the world they've done iwth the franchise. It was cool and all for a not canon spinoff, but people are trying to insist that they belong in the same universe.
Oh, and put me in the "Loves Prometheus" column.
It's pile on Dazzler day everybody! :-)
I'm a Prometheus lover, too. My main problem were the poorly conceived actions of many of the characters. But the rest of the film made up for that with me. It also was loved by most of the general movie audience since it made a lot of money and a sequel is being prepared.
Interesting. It would be cool to have one big Ridley Universe of Aliens, Replicants, Space Marines, and just a hint of Predators borrowed from the 20th C. FOX universe.
