Kaz Hirai, Sony Computer Entertainment's President and Group COO, has announced another setback for PLAYSTATION 3 in regards to their upcoming online based community service. Home has been expected to hit the markets this fall setting up for the holiday season until now. While performing Sony's keynote speech at the Tokyo Game Show, Hirai has said Sony is pulling the release back to at least Spring 2008.

So, why the new delay?

"I'm sorry about the delay, but since we want this to be a worldwide service -- our territories all have their own wishes for it -- it's taking a bit longer for us to develop. We want Home to be satisfactory to all types of users around the world, so we decided to delay it," said Hirai.

*yawn*

The only Sony console news I want to hear is "Brand New PS2 going for $50" or "Brand New PS3 going for $150."

Then I'll get one of those. :)

Wow, Sony keeps digging themselves a deeper and deeper hole.

Last week when the top games were posted, I noticed that not ONE PS3 game was in the top ten. That is sad when DS has more games than sony.

Good Job Nintendo, you have done well. Sorry PS3. but I would rather have my PS2, 360 and Wii any day of the week than PS3.
