Plot Summary:
The film kicks off when the artifacts from the Museum of Natural History are boxed up and sent to the archives at the Smithsonian in Washington. Adams will play an undetermined historical figure who has a crush on security guard Larry (Stiller). Azaria will play an all-powerful Egyptian pharaoh named Kah Mun Rah.Christopher Guest plays Ivan the Terrible.  Jon Bernthal is Al Capone, Bill Hader plays Gen. George Armstrong Custer and French actor Alain Chabat stars as Napoleon. Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon play the famed Wright brothers.

well thats just stupid, they already said in the first movie, its the museum that affects the artifacts, if the artifacts move from museum to museum, they wont come to life. Unless they transport the pharoh that was cursed with the artifacts? I dunno... relocating to the smithsonian sounds like a bad idea... then again I wasnt impressed with the first one at all.

"Larry is eventually rescued from an odd feud pitting a Wild West buckaroo named Jedediah (Owen Wilson) against a Roman General named Octavius (Steve Coogan) by a wax model of Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams), who later explains that ever since an Egyptian tablet --- the Tablet of Akmenrah --- was brought to the museum in 1952 after the Nile expedition, everything comes to life each night."
