SCI FI's Emmy and Peabody Award-winning original series "Battlestar Galactica" returns for its fourth original season on Friday, March 28 @ 10pm ET/PT with two back-to-back half-hour specials. The first new episode will premiere the following week, Friday, April 4 @ 10pm ET/PT.

"Battlestar Galactica: Revisited" (10pm) will serve up the essential information on the series' past three seasons, providing the uninitiated with an introduction to the characters, relationships and spine-tingling drama that have captured the imagination of audiences around the world. "Galactica's" executive producers, Ronald D. Moore and David Eick serve as guides, providing insights and revelations about the critically-acclaimed series.

"Battlestar Galactica: The Phenomenon" (10:30pm) is a celebrity-studded celebration of the show's impact on pop culture. Interviewees, including Seth Green, country
music's Top Male Vocalist of 2007 Brad Paisley, and The Soup's Joel McHale, and others, wax poetic about why "Battlestar Galactica" is one of the best frakkin' shows on television.

As season 4 opens, the last remnants of humanity continue their search for a new home, the thin line that separates them from the rapidly evolving Cylons is being redrawn. "Galactica's" crew, rocked by Starbuck's sudden and mysterious return from the dead and her claims that she has been to Earth and can lead them there attempts to make sense of the inexplicable. Meanwhile, four members of the fleet are still reeling from the revelation that they are Cylons and have been all along.

About Friggin' time!!! No, I didn't say 'frakkin'. The show has lost all momentum and I've lost major interest during this 'break'. How many other fans feel the same? Then they throw us a bone with the forgettable 'Razor'. I'll watch but this season better be un-friggin-believable to pull a stunt like this.

uhmm, no I don`t feel the same. Shit happens. I don`t mind waiting for quality but then again I`m a big fan of the show. Don`t watch it and we`ll all try not to lose sleep over it.

I can't wait!!!! I've been jonesing from not having my BSG, and finally it'll be back! Excellent! Best Sci-Fi show on TV and one of the best shows ever done! WooooHooooo!!!!

Agreed, shows have to take breaks sometimes, and it's not done out of spite toward us. I haven't lost any interest, and can't wait to see BSG again...frak

Its not the break that has irritated me. Its the fact I can not buy the frakkin dvd's for the last season.

Each season I buy the dvd's for lost, battlestar, and heroes, because I dont have time to catch them all (Now I have TIVO so its different) at once.

I find with shows like lost, I catch more of the plot twists than most people, because I watch the whole season in a day or two. But I digress.

I have even tried to get someone in the UK and australia to buy the BSG dvd's for me with no luck.

Was the wait too long? Yeah.
Am I psyched for it to finally be back? Frak, yeah!!
I admit to getting sick of the way seasons have been evolving over the last 3 or so years. Later starts and, for some, shorter seasons do piss me off. But that's the networks and not the creators. At least we'll get this season of BSG week after week 'til it's done w/no repeats (or so I understand). Hopefully with the strike over we'll even get close to a full season this year.
This show is top notch all the way around. This and Lost have been the best shows on TV for a while now. I’ll cut the creators some slack and save my ire for the networks themselves. Wankers futzin’ with my schedule to milk an extra “year” out of Lost. Die ABC execs! Die!
But I digress. In spite of the delay on this season of BSG at least the suits are giving them (or attempting to) a decent number of episodes to wrap things up. I know viewer ship on this show has declined but at least they aren’t forcing a premature ending like they are for Jericho.

I am eagerly anticipating the series ending. I want it to go out on a high note. :)

I have not, I repeat NOT lost interest at all. BSG Razor kept me warm over the long cold hiatus, and I've been revisiting old episodes to keep up to date, and remember all I have forgotten. WELCOME BACK to the best TV show in the last 10 years! WELCOME BACK!
You gotta give high praise to a highly successful TV show that knows when to say when. and doesn't run the show into the ground in the name of selling more commercials.
SWEEEEEETT CAN'T WAIT!

TOTALLY 100% AGREED!
Hey, if the break makes the show better, then I'm all for it. This is the best show that I have ever watched!!!

P.S. oh and "wasradone" I dont know what you are "frakking" thinking about Razor...that was frakking great!!! Maybe you shouldnt watch this season, that way you can go back to watching American Idol and reruns of "Queer Eye"
