The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Award Nominees for Outstanding Writing are Honored

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Writers Peer Group honored the nominees for Outstanding Writing for The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards August 31st at the Hyatt West Hollywood Hotel. Taking place in the Rooftop Ballroom and Pool Deck you could look out over the city of Los Angeles, which on this night the sky was clear and just perfect...no smog!

Attending the event was Fred Willard (the host for the event), Teri Hatcher and Kathryn Joosten (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES), Jack McGhee (RESCUE ME), Lisa Edelstein (HOUSE), Damon Lindelof and David Fury (LOST), Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS), and Dick Askin (Chairman and CEO of the Academy).

Only two people decided to avoid the press completely Marcia Cross and Marc Cherry (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES).
