Ok, I get ya now.  It definitly took at least two viewings to fully understand his whole spiel (not sure how to spell that).  You ever see Will Ferrell's parody of that scene from the 03' MTV Movie Awards.  Freakin hilarious!  If not you gotta youtube it.

You forgot to add The Dark Knight to your list - you pictured it and at first, I thought "Bravo" that someone actually had the balls to stand up and single out this film, for the over-hyped piece of shit and astonishingly average film that is it.  It's just some idiot in clown make-up, ranting and raving about rubbish and his Daddy Issues for a few hours - so what?

Overshadowed by the tragic (?) death of a young actor, The Dark Knight's success wasn't due to the film itself, nor was it about the performances, but the over-exposure in the media on the death of Heath Ledger. That's what drove people to see it - they felt sorry for him and because death is a bankable commodity in the entertainment industry - as a film, it's very average, full of scenarios we've seen a thousand times before (opening scene is a bank job? how dull) and a lead actor who puts on a stupid voice to 'fool' everyone, which came across as laughable and stupid.

I thought the list was perfect!  Wouldn't change a thing.

Since when are the X-Men movies acclaimed?

'Godzilla' is the only one I agree with guys.

Yes, Jar Jar was annoying, but 'The Phantom Menance' established the innocence of Anankin and the peaceful universe that existed during the Old Republic before Palpatine's manipulation.  This made both their falls that much tragic in 'The Revenge of the Sith'.

'Matrix: Reloaded' was just as good as it's predecessor.  The 'Burly Fight' was fantastic as well as the highway confrontation.  Neo's progression into a 'superhero' was only natural for being The Chosen One.

'Superman Returns' had it's ups and downs but was really quite good.  I agree a different villain than Luthor would've been a better choice, but the movie was supposed to be a direct sequel to 'Superman II' so I can understand the story.  And while so many come down on Superman having a son, I thought it was a great idea especially since Lois and Supes slept together in the last flick.  My only complaint would be the muted tones of his costume.  Should've kept the red and blue, the new suit reminded me of the technique used to darken Supes costume in 'Superman III' to show he was 'evil'...

There wasn't a damn thing wrong with 'Spiderman 3' other then Raimi's choice to go with a youthful snowboarder's costume for Franco's Goblin suit.  Should have had him don his father's like in the comics.  While Venom's creation should have been the end of the flick to use as a cliffhanger for four to give the symbiote menance his due, I still the character worked well enough in the movie.  You could always use Mac Gargan as four's villain instead of Vulture, have Spidey thrash him, and then have Gargan discover a remnant of the symbiote that survived the pumpkin bomb explosion and become the new Venom for an extended battle between he and Spidey at the climax.

As for Indy 4, the movie was ALWAYS planned as an homage to the campy 50s sci-fi flicks as a change to the 30s serials inspirations for the first three.  My only complaint was the heavy usage of CGI.  Indy movies were known for barebones effects to drive home the 30s inspirations...

You want movies that didn't live up to the hype:  'Men in Black II', 'Transformers 2', 'Twilight', 'New Moon', 'Lethal Weapon 4', 'The Crow: City of Angels'...  If I come out of a theater wishing I hadn't blown ten bucks, I'm pissed.

When Obi-Wan Kenobi (dear, dear Ewan) appeared on screen next to Qui-Gon and uttered, "I have a bad feeling about this..." -- it just went downhill from there.
