I've heard good thing about this show....BUT they all look like midgets to me....Not sure I am in to this.

BUT I didn't think I'd like Wolverine and the X-men and I love it....I hope they bring Spectacular Spider-Man back for a third season

Saw previews for this and looks pretty funny I'd might check it out for the comedy aspect. Batman Brave and The Bold thought it was going to suck but I enjoyed it's nonsense comedy style. Hope Marvel does a good job on it.

I watched the first episode last week on Teletoon here in Canada.  The good: there are a lot of characters from the Marvel Universe in here.  Doom is the overall baddy for the series.  Stan the Man does a guest voice in the beginning.   The bad: the target audience is kids.  Kid humour, kid look(it is based on a toy line for kids younger than ten).  Think a watered down Darkwing Duck or even Smurfs.

If I catch it, I might watch it again if nothing else is on.

The first picture in the gallery: I think that's the mayor (voiced by Stan Lee) and not Starhawk.  Yes, the mayor wears a superhero costume.

Yeah it's the mayor. Just saw the first two episodes, its actually pretty good. Not as corny as you would think it would be. Very entertaining, I'll continue to watch it along with my daughter.

Hey, I am glad I can watch some superhero cartoons with my son. Little man loves spidey batman and supes... but if i through enough other characters at him he gets interested too... and i am assuming it wont be too violent either... as that would save me from the ceremonial super hero wrestling battle we have after watching any super hero show... (i.e. saving me from the extra diving super fly high kick extravaganza)

Count & Josh: Thanks for the ID on the Mayor.

I'm glad the kiddies are getting a cool introduction to the Marvel universe but speaking as a big kid this looks pretty lame. Does anyone know if the Avengers is geared to little kids as well? I want a Marvel version of the Justice League sooner rather then latter and if I have to wait till the live action movie comes out I'll go nuts.

Its based off a Hasboro toy line. I thought the name sounded familiar

Yeah, they actually showed this one afternoon this week on the cartoon network, thought I'd check it out.  It was pretty funny.  Captain America cracks me up.  "Hah, diapers.  He knows you wear big boy pants.  It's in your file."

irishjosh 9/20/2009 12:41:12 AM

yeah the show is really funny, especially Cap
