6th Chicago Horror Film Festival Returns with Big Names and Longer Run

Chicago will play host to the 6th Horror Film Festival put on by Gatlin Pictures at the historic 3 Penny Cinema from October 28th to November 3rd. The Festival will include nearly fifty films that include actors from, "The X-Files", "Hellraiser", "The People Under the Stairs", and more. There will even be a guest appearances by Weston Blakesley, star of the latest in the Mangler franchise, "The Mangler Reborn" as well as filmmakers Dylan Bank of the movie "Nightmare" and Jim Hemphill of "Bad Reputation". We try to feature a large selection for every kind of horror fan, all stretched out over 7 days with an award ceremony on the final day of the festival.
The Chicago Horror Film Festival is run by local filmmaker, Jason R. Davis and will be his 6th Chicago Horror Film Festival. He is returning to Chicago after his successful expansion festival, the "Indy Horror Film Festival" that took place in Normal, IL earlier this month. It featured guest stars Steven Williams and Daniel Roebuck.
The Chicago Horror Film Festival will feature Camp Daze (Winner of Best Picture at the Indy Horror Film Festival), Alien Abduction, Neighborhood Watch, The Mangler Reborn, Nightmare (made by local Chicago filmmakers), Bad Reputation, WithIN, Horror Business, and many more Halloween treasures to trick and treat on.
