How about those two childhood-raping bastards that gave us the prequel trilogy and Indy 4? ;)

Everyone likes to jump on Lebron for what he did to Cleveland, but no one talks about the fact that Cleveland deserved it. I would have done it the same way Lebron did. The town of Cleveland and it's fans are some of the worst fans in any sports league. So many players of different sports have been so happy to leave that place. It's like a blackhole of douchebaggery...and sucking. Cavs were never gonna win even with Lebron there. The Lakers are the team to beat and the Cavs lacked the firepower. Now that the Heat have assembled the best triple threat since Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman...we're gonna see some fireworks.

WELL played, Miner!  This was an interesting list, but to reveal exactly what a TRUE geek I am, I only read this list in the hopes of finding out the details of what LeBron has done...I hear people talking about what a dick he is, but I honestly watch next to no sports.  I watch Colts games since I live in Indiana, I watch Redskins games (what can I say, I grew up in Arlington, VA when Theisman was KING), and I watch the superbowl...that's...about...it.  I don't even pay attention to sports news...once I've found out what's going on that matters in the world and in my community, I pretty much find something geeky to watch...lately it's been my "Boondocks" 1st and 2nd season DVDs.

Let me be the voice of reason.  I think many people fail to realize that LeBron James' contract was over.  He fulfilled his contract with the Cavaliers.  He owed the city of Cleveland nothing. He owed the fans of the Cavaliers nothing.  He did what he could to bring excitement to the city.  It happend to the Boston Red Sox when they traded Babe Ruth.  That's sports, that's life.  People move on everyday all over the world.  The Red Sox eventually won a couple of World Series after the Babe went to the Yankee's.  Cleveland also had Jim Brown, who played football for the Browns for 9 years.  He retired... why?  because he fulfilled his contract set rushing records and wanted to leave the game in relative good health to pursue other opportunities.  Who wouldn't .  As far as the list is concerned... it's fubar.  Why?  They are all fictional characters, who live in imaginary worlds or situations.  I wouldn't compare what these characters did to LeBron James' decision to sign with Miami. Who wouldn't?  Have you been to Cleveland?  I would chance hurricanes and jungle heat anyday as opposed to living in a dying community like Cleveland.  The true backstabbers in this arguement are the big business folks in Cleveland  who sold their companies and employees down the river over the last 35 years. Not this kid who has lived there his entire life.  He simply wanted to win and ...... so like David Bowie said in a 1979 song he " Moved On".

I like it. Although when I read it, my mind changes the article to "7 Characters That Screwed People Like Clay Bennett Did To Seattle".

How did my first post post again more than an hour later?  I wasn't even at the same computer...kooky.

Lebron is a raging ego maniac, but he did fulfill his contract with Cleveland. He orginally stayed in Cleveland because it was close to home. He is an Ohio boy and how cool would it be to play pro ball in your own backyard. Now, he wants to move on. I don't see anything wrong with that. What I do see wrong is the way he went about it.  He made it this huge spectacle and it prettymuch spits in the faces of his fans in Cleveland. All he had to do was have a small press confernce. Thank the city of Cleveland and say that he was moving on, but he chose to blow it up. Kind of a dochebag move. Lebron seems to be the new old Kobe, without the rings. People talk about him as the heir apparent to MJ. Bring a team together and get a few rings, then come back to me, with all that King James crap. So far he's more the jester than anything else.

Somebody has some serious LeBron James issues.  This list is rather humorous and I agree with Anakin Skywalker being #1.  Still,  Clevland fans need to turn the page.  If they wanted LeBron back, they should have done more to get him help.  An overweight, way past his prime "Man of Steel" Shaq was not the answer.  Besides, who wouldn't want to live in sunny Miami over Clevland?  I know I would take less money to live in Miami.  Maybe get a cameo on Burn Notice or something.
