I was going to make a wisecrack about the propeller guy in Titanic, but after just looking at video of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, I don't want to see anybody dying, hurt, or in fear of either one.   

What?! Titanic at #1? Gimme a break. I haven't seen Robocop in probably 15 years. Back then I probably saw it 20 times. I completely forgot about the toxic waste scene. Definitely have to seen that again soon. I'd like to throw "Ghost Ship" in the ring. The beginning scene when the cable snaps and cuts everyone on the dance floor to pieces is fabulous.

In regards to the line "there's one thing everyone can agree on... once the ship finally starts sinking, the movie kicks ass!" about Titanic, I can disagree.  The movie blows, big time.  Sorry, but I really never needed to see the damn ship sink in REAL TIME!  Granted the guy falling was pretty funny, but that's about it.

Small spoiler here for District 9...

I would add to this list the scene in District 9 when Vicktus' fingernails start peeling off (similar to the seen in Cronenberg's The Fly).   EHhhhh, that makes me cringe just thinking about it.  It's also like that damn toenail fungus commerical with the little animated Fungus monster emerging from under a toenail like it's cellar door from Evil Dead.

 Deep Blue Sea, when Sammy J does his survivor monologue...and becomes fish food. I laughed my ass off and almost got thrown out of the theater.

Deep Rising...when the woman gets sucked through the toilet or the partially digested guy that gets thrown up (combo of anaconda and the melting guy from robocop)

if we are going for just purely rewatchable without gore...the T-Rex attack jurassic park

Definetly one of my fave sadistic, guilty pleasure moments. I don't think that ever becomes unfunny

How about the scene from The Thing where the big guy, Norris, goes into cardiac arrest, and Copper tried to revive him with the "shocker paddles", and Norris' abdomen opens up, biting off Coppers arms at the elbows! Then, as the Norris creature transforms, the part where his head tears away from the body and all those "tendon" looking thinks and green slimmy stuff spills out as the "head" lowers itself to the floor. Then it sprouts spidery legs and eyes on stalks and shuffles away.

Best Line: As Palmer sees the "head spider" walking away he says, "You've gotta be f*cking KIDDING!"

How about Audition when the girl has a man in a bag and cuts of the other gut foot off with Piano wire and laughs as it happening.
 Also Drag Me to Hell that old lady suck on that girl chin like four times in the movie.Sick!

There's a lot of scenes you could pick from Total Recall for this list and I wouldn't argue.

But yeah, number 1 was weak and shouldn't even be on the list.
