Will Smith can't be on this list, that cat was bad ass from day one.  He got in a fight with a couple of guys that were up to no good and were causing problems in the neighborhood.  Wusses don't fight.

 This feature makes no sense.

By the way Wiseguy, Sam Worthington didn't really turn into a 15 foot tall cat person.  Just letting you know.

SarcasticCaveman 3/10/2010 7:01:31 AM

Also Wiseguy, if everybody understands what the article aims at, then a couple people should be willing to admit that Elijah Wood PLAYED a badass in "Sin City"...Frodo is a horrible example of badassery, and if they author of the article really wanted to convince people, they should have used a picture of Kevin, but it's wrong to say that Elijah Wood has never played a badass, just as it's wrong for people to talk about these actors as badasses simply based on characters they've played.

Wasn't Hugh Jackman's first movie the X-Men?  How could he be a FORMER wussy actor?  That's a bit of a stretch.

I think Gerard Butler has BECOME a wussy actor with the crep he's been putting out since 300.

Elijah Wood and Adrian Brody... Bad asses? Are you fuking kidding me? Neither can fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Wiseguy 3/10/2010 7:30:50 AM

@cAVEMAN, Perhaps you need to read the beginning of the article again. Cause Joe seems to be hinting at the actors perception from from the public based on the roles they played. I know it may be too much for you but try.

No one here knows who is truly a badass, they can know all kinds of martial arts or whatever but may still be pussies.

Woods role in Sin City didn't change anyone's perception unlike all the others named. Probably cause the role he played anybody could've done it. I'm not an actor and I could've pulled that off. The role doesn't call for him to add anything to the character, attitude nor banter. Hell the Terminator had more personality than that. Again, perception, Joe never said roles.

I know you want to be the smart guy here but you're reading and adding to what Joe said

The whole point of this article was listing actors who in movies went from playing wussies to bad asses. What idiot thinks this is about the actors being "badasses" in reality?

Wiseguy 3/10/2010 7:42:53 AM

yeah, what pony said is even more accurate than my point

hanso 3/10/2010 7:46:42 AM
