HEROES:ORIGINS Scrapped For Now - Nov 01, 2007 - 08:31am
ARGH! This seasons HEROEs has dragged and dragged. Hiro in the past is pointless because the show hasn't shown that anything has or will change because of his being there. The twin storyline was cool for the first episode but come on this many eps to get them to Suresh? Last year had a lot more substance and better cliffhangers. The ORIGINS eps would have given fans a reason to stick around and have input on who moves up to the show. Now that it looks like it won't happen just proves that they aren't willing to invest in a project thats leaking oil. Scrapping new blood like Kevin Smith and Eli Roth is the opposite direction this show should be taking.
Christian Bale Hunting PABLO ESCOBAR - Oct 02, 2007 - 04:40pm
Awesome book that should translate well to screen, especially with quality caliber actors like Bardem and Bale.
Bale is very under appreciated for his body of work. Rescue Dawn was a fantastic movie. Johnny Depp gets a lot of credit for his roles and I feel Bale is even wiser in his role selection. He has really pulled off roles in American Psycho, Batman, Harsh times, Machinest, and even Reign of Fire was good. Haven't seen 3:10 yet but hope Killing Pablo gets fast tracked with these stars attached.
HALO 3 Hits $170 Million Mark on First Day - Sep 27, 2007 - 05:27pm
I hope they don't make a Halo movie cuz it can't live up to the game nor the hype. I'm sure they would depart from the game's storyline and only Peter Jackson would probably stay true to the game anyway and I doubt he'll commit.
