"No one wants to think about eternity and God, which are all more real than a Marvel universe."
Actually, God and the Marvel universe are equally real.
I agree- the books would have been much better had Ender been 13 or 14..
I vote Road Warrior as #1, without a close second.
Bourne and Jedi should both be top 10, if not top 5.
"Wise-i dont think it's a magical 2 thors kind of thing. I think that's just his stunt double. haha"
Thanks for clearing that up, Professor.
Robin is a ridiculously corny character... especially when shown as a kid. Did you guys walk striaght out of 1960 or what? How do you know how to use a computer?
@Wyldstaar - I'm a comic fan and have no interest in seeing like 80% of those movies. How do you think they would play to the masses? Sorry.
Just so this doesn't get too much bashing on DC, I don't think Ant-Man is a good idea... skeptical on Guardians of the Galaxy as well. Fantastic Four is pretty corny. Ghost Rider COULD be good in the right hands. With X-Men, Spidey, Avengers (and individual members), they should have more than enough there to make enough good and fresh movies/stories.
Here's what DC needs to do... invent more than one interesting big-time "hero" (Batman). Batman also has pretty much all the interesting villians. Superman will always do okay because he is iconic... but Wonder Woman? Boring/corny. Aquaman? Boring/corny. Flash is a boring character... Green Lantern is half way interesting... but incredibly corny.
"And the book Monkeyfoot is talking about is Devil In the White City. It's actually a fictionalized account of a true story of unsolved murders that happened during the New York World's Fair."
WTF? Ummm... no. I've read The Devil in the White City- it's about the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago and a serial killer in the same area. Teddy Roosevelt is not in it. And it is not fictionalized all that much (though day-to-day actions of the killer obviously had to be filled in as there is no exact record).

Prediction- this will not be very good.
