I too have been a fan since seeing the Frazetta covers and devouring the Howard originals and older Pastiches. The Nordic look is dead on. He did have an accent, but maybe not quite as thick as Arnolds. I would say he's less a body builder type body and more Lean muscular. I'd check out the actor's from the 13th Warrior. Bolvi (spelling) would be great as long as his hair was black. Following the source material is key. I actually preferred the 2nd movie to the first simply because it didn't break any Canon. (The first movie was a better MOVIE, especially with the R rating). The thing that irked me the most was his origin (he did not spend years on a wheel...he grew up big and was fighting the Vanir by the age of 12) and Thusa Doom was the nemisis of Kull the Conqeror. The best Conan movies need only follow the story as Howard laid them out....
